Hey, I'm Eleanor!

I'm a filmmaker and writer passionate about telling meaningful, timeless stories across diverse mediums and genres. I firmly believe that the best stories help us not just understand ourselves, but give us the rare opportunity to experience the world from another person's point of view. I hope you'll join me in my journey.

About Me

Sylvia Plath once said “I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in my life. And I am horribly limited.” I think these words fantastically describe why stories have such a profound impact on our lives. Growing up in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I have memories of consuming the books, movies, TV, plays, and more that would shape my perspective.

From page to screen, I tell stories about misfits and dreamers forever trying to understand their relationship with the past, both personal and collective, and their place in the broader world.

When not at my keyboard or on a film set, I love going for walks, spending time in nature, thrift shopping, visiting museums, listening to music, or burning my new favorite scented candle. I'm based in Los Angeles, California.
